For my last semester at Teesside University, I am going to be developing a 2D Zelda styled dungeon made from LPC sprites. From a young age I have enjoyed putting thousands of hours into Zelda from Minish cap on the Gameboy Advanced to Twilight Princess on the Nintendo Wii, and I have always wanted to know how to create a dungeon for a Zelda game.

The aim of my project is to develop a single Zelda dungeon, with a boss fight, and build it for mobile. As I have an android device, and an android license, I will build the dungeon solely for android. As I have not made a game for mobile before, I will have to learn what would be best for the UI of this game.
This project will be made in Unity. This is because I am more comfortable with the 2D side of Unity than I am with other engines. Another engine I considered for development was Gamemaker. However, I decided against it as Unity gave me more flexibility which I prefer.
Over the course of the project I will try to update this blog with developments made with my project.
